First at the gate every morning and last to leave the hay rack. Buttercup runs the barn on a strict schedule of breakfast, second breakfast, and supervising the chickens.

Clover can hear a feed bucket from three fields away, but not her own name from two metres.
the daydreamer
Clover prefers the far corner of the lower meadow, where the grass is allegedly sweeter. She answers to her name roughly half the time, which we choose to find impressive.
